Kennedy grew up in the sweet, southern town of LaGrange, Ga with a family that always encouraged her unusual interest of architecture, textures, furnishings, accessories, and color. She went on to graduate from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. This design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation and is a member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
She has worked with Sarah Barintine Design where she fine tuned her CAD and commercial design knowledge,Ida Solomon Durand Design which specializes in historical preservation with an emphasis in traditional design, and finally Benton Parker Design, under head designer Leslie Wolfe who is know for her featured articles in regional magazines.
Kennedy has recently moved to Jacksonville to pursue her dreams of designing high-end homes in the southeast. “Jacksonville is such a uniquely beautiful town.” Kennedy says, “It’s people, structures, and bright atmosphere create a place where everyone has a niche along its sunny shores. You don’t see that sort of lovely dynamic in many cities.”
When she’s not designing, she enjoys keeping good company by surrounding herself with family and friends, exploring the beach, painting, and gardening.
With a desire to create unique and beautiful spaces, Kennedy contributes as a team member to J Turner by embracing her clients design styles while enhancing their vision with her touch of passion for quality design.
